Introduction
The Chief Postmaster General of the Andhra Pradesh Circle, Vijayawada, is pleased to announce a concessional rate for the India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) Group Accidental Policy (GAG) available to Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) and their spouses. This special one-time concession is aimed at supporting the families of GDS employees, providing essential coverage at a reduced rate in the month of November 2024.

Action Required
Divisional Heads are instructed to
obtain consent from the GDS employees interested in availing of the policy and
arrange for the deduction of the premium amount from the Time Related
Continuity Allowance (TRCA) in November 2024. Policies should be processed for
the consenting GDS employees and their families by either November or December
2024.
The progress report indicating the number of GDS employees who opted for the policy, along with a consolidated division-wise report, should reach the office of the Chief Postmaster General by 25.11.2024.
Coordination and Support
To ensure the smooth implementation of
this policy:
1.
The AGM and Circle Head of IPPB are requested to guide branch heads to
coordinate with respective Divisional Heads, ensuring all willing GDS employees
can avail of the policy.
2. All Divisional Heads in the Andhra Pradesh Circle should undertake necessary steps to promote and process the policy as per the guidelines.
