## Overview of the Scheme Updates

The latest benefit tables pertain to accumulated savings values payable upon cessation of membership (due to retirement, resignation, or death) during the period between **April 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026**.

Key parameters guiding the latest quarterly release include:

 * **Interest Rate:** The benefit tables have been calculated based on an interest rate of **7.1% per annum (compounded quarterly)**, as notified by the Department of Economic Affairs.

 * **Calculation Authority:** The rates and benefit tables were compiled by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (**IRDA**).

 * **Constitutional Compliance:** For employees in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the orders were issued in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) pursuant to Article 148(5) of the Constitution.

## Subscription Categories Covered

The tables are divided into two distinct categories based on employee contribution choices:

### 1. Standard Revised Subscription Rate Table

This primary table applies to employees paying standard subscriptions:

 * **₹10 per month** from January 1, 1982, to December 31, 1989.

 * **₹15 per month** with effect from January 1, 1990, onwards.

### 2. Unrevised Subscription Rate Table

This second table caters specifically to employees who opted out of the revised rate and continued contributing at the lower rate:

 * **₹10 per month throughout** the entire service period.

>  * **1982 Entry:** Accumulated value of ₹52,047.53 (May) / ₹51,736.21 (June).

>  * **1990 Entry:** Accumulated value of ₹21,393.61 by June 2026.

>  * **2000 Entry:** Accumulated value of ₹7,427.43 by June 2026.

>  * **2010 Entry:** Accumulated value of ₹2,742.25 by June 2026.

## Fund Allocation Breakdown

The insurance scheme splits member contributions between a **Savings Fund** and an **Insurance Fund** as follows:
