As part of this initiative, the PLI Directorate has engaged Shri Caesar Dutta, a seasoned Data Migration Consultant with over 15 years of experience in data migration projects. The consultant has been tasked with providing expert guidance and technical support to ensure a seamless and accurate migration of insurance data to the new platform.
According to the communication issued by the Technology Section of the PLI Directorate, both the data migration process and the Data Verification Tool are critical components for the successful implementation of IMS. The meeting has been scheduled to bring together the concerned CEPT teams, the PLI Directorate, and the external consultant to discuss the migration strategy, verification methodology, and the roadmap for implementation.
The discussion is expected to focus on ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of migrated data, while also finalising the verification mechanisms that will validate records before the nationwide rollout of the new Insurance Management System.
The transition from CIS to IMS is a significant milestone in the digital transformation of Postal Life Insurance services.
